Needle Punch Loom from Italy

At ITMA 2007, COMEZ presented a variety of important innovations and new and renewed machine models from its broad range of machinery and needle looms for the production of narrow fabrics, highlighting the excellence of its technology in this sector.
In crochet knitting machines, a technology in which COMEZ is an undisputed world leader, with numerous electronic and mechanical models, developed for many applications: narrow fabrics (lace, ribbons, bands) for underwear, passementerie, fancy yarns, textiles for technical applications, and special fabrics for outerwear.
All crochet machine models feature the application of newly engineered solutions aimed at maximizing production efficiency and flexibility, allowing for fast article changing times while simultaneously providing easy operation and simple maintenance.
The electronic drive now applied to all feeders (weft, warp, elastic yarns) and the finished product take-down, allows for the possibility of different stitch density values (stitches/cm) on one single product, as well as different values for weft/warp feeding and elasticity.
Among many models of electronic crochet machines on display:
Comeztronic CT-20B.
Electronic crochet knitting machine with 20 weft pattern bars, available in gauges 15 and 20 n.p.i. and with working width of 420 and 600 mm, for the production of a broad range of very complex and high quality laces, bra straps and flounces, both rigid and elastic.
In-depth studies and research have made it possible to eliminate the problem of possible vibrations of the bars, which now effect only a transversal, and no longer a vertical movement. The mechanical movements applied to the machine (movement of the needle beds along an ellipsoidal path) allow for a higher number of bar crossings which means an increased number of working lines.
