Textiles employing nanosize gold in different colours within merino wool fibres, as colourfast colourants, have been developed at the Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. They were presented at the Innovations in Textiles conference held at the Royal College of Physicians in London, UK, from 18-19 March by James H. Johnston.
