[ Technical Textiles - High-tech clothing for the active ageing population.]

New clothing that incorporates electronic functions to improve the quality of life for the active ageing population will be created in a new research project launched at the University of Wales, Newport, UK. The project is particularly aimed at the 60–75 year age group who are active participants in outdoor and sports.
